Background- dance specifically street dance. Originally aim was to gain a good background in acrobatics, but have since chosen to specialise in aerial. I am learning static trapeze, my aim is to incorporate a dynamic street flavour to traditional static moves. At some point during or after the course I would like to do some swinging.

My name is Karoliina. I'm from Finland (and proud of it!)
I love disco music because it's from the seventies like me. My theme song is Abba's 'Dancing Queen, young and sweet only seventeen…' So I am only seventeen years old and I have had this same stupid joke for the last ten years…..I don't like football and I don't understand what is so special with the royal family, queen mother etc. So I don't get along very well the English culture.
And the weather here is terrible! I couldn't stand staying here in London if I was not doing circus….. I am spending my days up in the air or upside down on the floor! My specialisation is Cloudswing. But I also do rope and static trapeze. I also love tap dancing, dancing, handstands and tightwire…..
I've have found Circus Space to be like a big playground for those who don't want to grow up. It's worth contacting me cause I'm a sexy beast.

Rafa has some experience in circus before coming to the Circus Space, he trained for one year in Carampa circus school (Madrid) and he was involved in the Elipse project for F.E.D.E.C. He has also worked in a company called nene y nena with an acrobalance and aerial show for the same company. He is currently working in a juggling show and learning more skills in circus space. His specialites are teeterboerd and cradle.

Interests: Since stating the course I have developed a keen interest in clown work and other such comic styles of acting. I also enjoy going to the cinema, swimming, running, football; playing on the school's football team and reaching the quarterfinals of a drama school tournament, going to parties and clubs as well as finding out about local armature dramatics groups, martial arts centres and venture scout groups.

My favourite piece of apparatus were hoop and ball.
